The Positions page serves as your trading command center, providing real-time insights into both active and completed trades. You will spend most time on this panel.
Every trade you make is tracked and displayed here, with clear visual indicators to help you monitor performance and manage your positions effectively.
When you open the Positions page, you'll immediately notice trades displayed in different colors. Green rows represent profitable positions, while red indicates positions at a loss. Open positions are prominent in the display, while closed positions provide historical performance data.
Each position shows critical information across the row: The percentage at the far left gives you an immediate profit/loss indicator.
Next to it, you'll find the token's icon and symbol, followed by the wallet used for the trade.
The SOL values show your entry amount, exit amount (if closed), and the actual profit/loss in SOL.
At the top left of your screen, you'll find status toggles for "Open" and "Closed" positions. These act as quick filters - use them when you want to focus on your active trades or review your trading history. You can further refine your view by specific wallets or tokens using the filters below the status toggles.
A key feature you'll notice is the Grid indicator in the "Auto Sell" column. This tells you that an automated strategy is protecting your position. When you see this indicator, it means your position has predetermined exit points.
If the Auto-Sell is turned OFF, you have to close the position manually.
Clicking the "View" button on any position reveals the full story of your trade.
Let's examine a real example:
Looking at the POPFISH trade, we can see how a successful grid strategy played out:
The position opened with 0.03 SOL (approximately $5.35)
The grid strategy was set with multiple targets:
First target at 1.25x with a 10% sell and 10% trailing stop-loss
Second target at 1.5x, selling 30% with a 15% trailing stop-loss
After reaching 1.5x the token price climbed a bit more, before starting to tank. The trailing stop-loss auto-sell activated triggered by a price drop of 15% from ATH, selling the remaining position.
This position resulted in a 62.45% profit, demonstrating effective grid strategy execution.
The interface keeps you informed with real-time updates on:
Current profit/loss percentage and SOL value
Time elapsed since position opening
Active grid targets and their status
Stop loss settings and trailing percentages
The beta version of Sniperoo doesn't allow grid level adjustments in open positions. This is a feature we are planning to implement soon.
For open positions, you have direct control through the "Sell" button, allowing manual exit if needed.
Closed positions display the complete trade lifecycle, from entry to exit timestamps. You can analyze:
Total holding period
Exit trigger (whether manual, grid-triggered, or stop loss)
Final performance metrics
Transaction hashes for verification
At the top, you can see the Stop Loss Type, followed by the current Stop Loss %.
The grid details shown in position views show the following details of your automated strategy:
✅ Check marks indicate triggered targets
❌ Cross marks show unfilled targets
Target columns show your planned exit multipliers
Sell % indicates the portion of your position to exit at each target
Trail % shows your protective trailing stop percentage
When monitoring your trades, start with the status filters to focus on active positions. Keep an eye on the P/L indicators - green percentages show profitable positions while red percentages indicates unrealized losses.
The Grid indicator gives you confidence that your automated strategies are active and protecting your positions.
For deeper analysis, use the View button to examine individual positions. Here you'll find complete transaction details, strategy settings, and performance metrics that help inform future trading decisions.
The platform calculates and displays your profit/loss in both percentage and absolute terms. You'll see these values in SOL and their approximate USD equivalents. This dual display helps you track both percentage gains and actual realized profits.
Remember, each row tells a complete story of your trade - from entry point through strategy execution to final outcome. Use this information to refine your trading strategies and improve future performance.
